Yup! Glad I’m not the only one. I recently emptied my drawer of snacks, which is in grabbing distance of my chair. It started out with some high-energy, healthy snacks, but somehow morphed into a collection of peanut butter cups and other treats!
Mindy, have you consulted a good chiropractor? Sometimes it’s not really carpal tunnel and they can adjust your wrists to stop the tingling and pain, and teach you how to use your hands in ways that won’t stress your wrists. Not all chiros are qualified for adjusting your extremities, so you have to be careful. But it’s certainly better than pain and surgery!!!
Hi Susanna,
Thanks for the suggestion! I hadn’t considered that, but it’s a great idea. I’ve seen a chiro before with some good results, and it’s certainly worth looking into at this point.
Thanks for the tip–
Mindy

Great tips, Mindy! I’m especially bad about eating at my desk and you’re right–I eat more junk because I’m not paying attention. – Donna
