Heather has worked as a full-time freelance writer and marketing consultant since 2003. During that time, she’s had the pleasure of working with such well-known writers as Clayton Makepeace, Ann Handley, Nick Usborne, Brian Clark, Don Mahoney, and Mark Everett Johnson.

Heather specializes in content strategy and email marketing as well as user experience copywriting. She’s served as the managing editor of this site since 2010. When she’s not writing copy for the web, you’ll find Heather playing soccer, bouldering, cooking, writing novels, or hanging out with her family.
