Mindy, I loved to see the balloons – because I love hot air balloons. We used to see them come by often when I lived in the River Valley in Edmonton and I was once involved in the H A Balloon World Championship in Alberta – many moons ago in another life 🙂
Have you been up in one? I was … once. I got to take someone’s place because of a broken ankle – his. I had no sympathy (not much anyway) b/c I benefited. It’s so quiet up there.
Perhaps I’ll make Albuquerque some day – it’s on my list.
Enjoy the beautiful sites.
Ann
So glad to hear you’re in on the Challenge – it’s going to be a fun one.
I actually did get to go up in a balloon once, though it was in tiny Roswell, New Mexico instead of at the big Fiesta. It was so peaceful and invigorating … I remember flying over an ostrich farm! (Random.)
I hope you DO make it to Albuquerque some day! In the meantime, I’ll look forward to seeing you at Bootcamp next month!
Hi Kenya,
It’s really just a matter of preference. Some people use their personal names on social media just because it makes your message more personal – makes you more human, you know? It’s easier to have a conversation with another person that it is with a business name. That said, plenty of people use their business names, they just have to be sure not to be dry or dull – in other words, show some personality! I think the best approach is to use “Your Name, Business Name” wherever you can. After all, copywriting is about the personal touch, so knowing there’s a person behind the business is pretty important (in my opinion!).
