Great article Christina! I can certainly relate, especially where the FOCUS issue is concerned. Thanks for sharing and for your Reality Blog. It’s always helpful to see how others realize their dreams!
Thank you, Christina. I am trying to focus and prepare to make the leap. I am also claiming as my goal: Have three paying clients by January 1, 2016. There, I now put it out there into the cosmos. Thank you for saying that you will probably never feel 100% ready. That lifts a burden as well. There is so much that must be learned by experience.
Wonderful stuff, and very inspiring for me. You have accomplished so much in a relatively short time!
My biggest problem is FOCUS. It is so easy to be distracted…full time job, relationship, walking the dog, mowing the grass…LIFE does tend to take up a lot of time. I get up at 5 a.m. to do my reading, and try to do my writing at night. That’s where I stumble, especially if I am tired after a full day of working.
Now I am close to launching my web site – I have to do it payday by payday, and it gripes me. In the meantime, I have a lot of content to write in order to launch it.
Hi, Christina, I’ll add my “great article” congrats to you, as well! Thanks so much for sharing your path, your journey.
One thing I wondered about. Focus seems to be the biggest bugaboo for a lot of us, and that definitely includes me. My mom was famous for keeping to a schedule and she urged me to do that, too. For example, every spring and fall, like clockwork, she took vacation time from work to thoroughly clean house, attic to basement. Every Saturday, she cleaned the house. That was a huge turnoff to me, a person who doesn’t enjoy the process of housecleaning, in the first place (she thoroughly enjoyed it). So her regular schedule was not one I embraced (but probably should have on some level).
Here’s my question (thank you for being patient!): Do you operate best from a regular schedule,, and, part B, does it have anything to do with your focus?
