I have no trouble disconnecting when LIFE overtakes me; I simply shut my computer and walk away. As I age, my ‘walk away’ has increasingly become to take a short nap. After an hour or so, I can easily walk into another activity or not, without even thinking about it. I have found that a lot more of the fun things get done this way that usually never would have. My body and mind have learned to turn the start button back on at just the right time. My breaks have varied from 2-3 hours to a day or so. The important thing is that I am refreshed, and the start button does get turned back on in a reasonable amount of time. And it all work for me.
